I'm looking to do the same, trying to justify the expense with Germany round the corner, and thinking its a place I would particularly like to be able to stop at!

I have been looking at these...

http://www.apracing.com/product_deta...with_pads.aspx

http://www.interex.co.uk/motorsport/...t.php?pid=1235

... £636 for mine for the discs and pads..

Looking at AP's site it appears Camberley Autofactors are a dealer for them

Has anyone else tried these?

I have the original brakes. Im aiming for around 370/375. So I'll like to replace everything if it's not too expensive

If I were you guys I would call Alyn at AS Performance.

He will tailor the best he can supply for your budgets, and requirements .

on my newage wrx I have just gone from Subaru 4 pots to Brembo's.

At the moment I have cheap discs with PF Z rated pads, these seem to be coping quite well, but I plan to go to 2 piece floating discs shortly.

A break down of my cost was as follows:

Front Brembo calipers 2nd hand - £300
Z rated pads - £128
Discs - £110
Hel brake lines for all 4 calipers £60

If I go 2 piece discs I am looking at another £450 plus I think.

Now if you you can fit K sports under your wheels £899 or there abouts for new kit seems like quite a bargain in comparison. Ginola I think made a comment at the weekend that Steve_PPP's K Sports were very powerful on track, and if I had changed my wheels to 18's I think this is a route I would have gone.

If you are on a budget, stick with std calipers, get some standard Subaru discs and stick some good pads in like Ferrodo DS2500 and change the fluid.

Speak to Alyn @ AS Performance or try Aztec Performance as well, both well used on SES.

And that was in the wet - they're even better in the dry

we do a lot of AP Racing components/kits BUT i would not recomend the strap-drive kit for the Brembo's due to its poorer performance and value for money compared to the far superior (IMO) Performance Friction 2pce set-up

as for PFC, etc. as one of the largest distributors in the country we can certainly help out with pricing and deals as always

not sure where/who you bought the z-rated pads from but even at RRP they are only just under £110inc. for the Brembo STi caliper
