Very cool, I'd be a tad nervous about being the first person to fly a plane after a renovation..... what was that noise!?!?

What was the green thing strapped to his back? Was it a parachute or some sort of seat attachment?

That's his chute mate.

You would want want of those for sure in the first flight for 60 years.

Now all I REALLY WANT to see, is someone to renovate a Stuka! They are fookin awesome things
