don't know but its on the newage cars too, down in front of the radiator.

Something is simple at the sensor for the outside air temperature display in the dash maybe???

My skyline's got the exact same thing int he same place.

I don't have a outside temp gauge though

Don't think its that - i just looks like some kind of sensor. definately no extra fan attached to it and i've got air con on mine.....
