Default SES Breakfast Meet - Sunday 23rd February - A21 Diner, Hurst Green

Hi Folks,

This months meet will be a breakfast meet being held at the A21 Diner in Hurst Green on Sunday 23rd February. We have been here a couple of times as a club and the food and service was very well received.

The restaurant opens at 9am so we shall meet at 8:30 to give everyone time to arrive, park and have a chat before we eat.

They serve traditional full English, American style pancakes and milkshakes etc. along with the usual tea, coffee and fruit juices etc.

The restaurant gets very busy and work hard to try fitting us in together as a club, please get your name on the list as early as possible so I can confirm numbers before the day.

Cheers for organising today Rob, always a good breakfast there. Sorry for holding up the orders this morning but when you discover the owner has an Escort Cosworth the conversation did drift off the topic of food for a little while.

Drove past earlier and saw the A21 Diner is no more, there's some other eatery opening but doesn't look like it will be a breakfast venue unfortunately.

Wait and see where the family that ran it go from here...

We had been made aware at the beginning of the Covid stuff the Baxter family were looking to move on, I think they ended up carrying on longer then intended because of the virus mess.

If it turns out they intend to run a similar set up at another location locally I will be sure to inform the group!
