Default DCCD

Not being the sharpest tool in the box, can someone tell me what imprezas have the dccd control. looking to buy a 2000 onward sti (jap) or a 2002 onward sti (uk prodrive) I have seen a 2003 jap spec with dccd, and a 2002 uk without it? Also would be interested in your opinions on which one to buy, thanks paul. ps i know the earlier classic ra/type r car hadit fitted.

Don't quote me on this, but I think only a handfull of UK cars have had it since 2000, I know WR1 has it and think that the bugeye UK300 had it, but beyond that it was only imports.

Best person to speak to for advice is Saj @ Jap Performance Parts, he can tell you what is what and might even be able to source you something?

i thought it standard on WR1 and all later 2005 STi's onwards (uk cars) ?

don't think the uk300 had it as that was just a WRX special edition dressed up by Prodrive.

Uk cars from 2005 with 6 speeds had it as standard fit or sti's had it and wrx didn't .
But then there are a few in early cars as mods !
Think I'd look for a well modded car if i had me money again although there is nothing better then saying I did that

As I said, I wasn't that sure

They did put it onto the UK 2005 car, WR1 was the first for a while to have it as standard fit. My STi8 with PPP which is 1 month older than the WR1 didn't even have it as an option

I have only ever seen one UK300, that one had it! Unless it was an aftermarket fit?

Best bet is as CJ Said, buy and mod to your spec.

Again, not like I'm a rep for Saj or anything, but speak to him or check out the website http://www.japperformanceparts.co.uk/ . He may have something just begging for this kind of thing. Remembering of course he is in the middle of building the mother of ALL drift scoobies

Only thing with saj for a 6 speed is the ratio's
he sells jdm not uk bits
if you like burning lots of petrol at 70 then thats not a problem
saying that he has the odd U.K. car in to strip
