Default 2006 sti???

I have been seriously looking at this. I seem to always get drawn back to these!!! It's pretty much the model I would want being the last of the 2.0 but whilst it's described as meticulously maintained and immaculate, I can't help noticing the dirty great black soot mark on the back bumper over the exhaust. It may be that it's been missed when it was cleaned but must also mean whoever had it never cleaneded it properly, or there is a lot of crap coming out the back??? What would cause that amount of black..

Shouldn't it have been mapped if it's got a nur-spec? If so it might spit a flame or 2 on the over run. I'd be surprised if it just has an exhaust and nothing else. Looks like a decent motor though. Go and have a look at it, and while you're there check the colour match on all the panels. Silver is easy to spot repairs. No harm in looking.

There's a chap over on Surrey Scoobies selling an almost identical car to that with only 37k on the clock.

He's off to live in the US, hence his reason for selling. He bought it from Hurst cars.

You might find that one interesting and closer to you. I think he's in East Grinstead currently. If you can't access the thread I can get the details for you.
