Default 30,000 mile sevice

how much do you guys think it will cost me for a 30,000 mile service on my 2l r sport auto. i no its a big one,should i buy the parts or let specialist garage just do it.only done 29,500,so wont need doing till new year.

If you have dealer services up to now, I would stick with them.

Not sure from memory what a 30k involves, so tough to guess.

I wouldn't have been far away with my guess then. I was going to guess at £250 ish + vat.

not got a main dealers now as southgate subaru closed down.

Didz,

Although its only done 29500 its not a 30000 service you need as it runs 10000 or year, whichever comes first. For example mine has just had its 50000 or 5 year service, even though its only done 30000. Just thought I'd mention it. So, assuming yours is a 2006 model, it will be 50000 mile/5 year service.

I just had a 4th year service (ok so they may do different bits depending on the service I guess) at the same time as MOT and it was £290 at Lifestyle Ford / Subaru. Hopefully might be somewhere around that mark.

LUCKY,you are right,its the 50,000/5 year service.the big 1,plugs,cam belt,diffs,gearbox and all the other fluids.

Yeah, not fair is it!. Brent at SMD did mine and as always was spot on.
