Thanks Ginola, Just finally after 5 months [after buying the car] got it up and running after an engine rebuild, [ hence the re map] What a car, should have got one of these years ago, its an absolute missile down a bendy road !

Neil at Slowboy, Brands Hatch. To be honest I don't think you'll find s good Subaru mapper on your doorstep, Duncan at Racedynamix goes to Surrey Rolling Road at Farnborough.

I wanted someone with a rolling road, i want to keep the power down to save the gearbox.
Im assuming if its mapped on the road they wont know what power is being produced?

Normally every Thursday and Friday nowadays. Check his website and it'll tell you when he's there.

Give me a shout if you head there, I'm a few minutes round the corner from it and will pop over.

All methods are not exact, but the rollers is the more accurate measurement method!
I personally prefer a road map, as I don't drive my car on a rolling road.. then if needed or you want bragging rights, then a tweak on the dyno.

In an ideal world we would map in 6th on the autobahn! up hill with bricks in the back :P

What's the story on Fuel Pumps & other uprated parts?

How closely do you need to fit them before the Map? Will it cause damage to fit in advance.

Can you take it somewhere & get them to fit the pump & the map at the same time?

Fuel pump can be changed whenever you like, its not going to cause damage running an upgraded pump without mapping the car.

Other uprated parts.... well it depends what parts

If you have Polo's in the glovebox you should really consider a remap.

But if you swap them for mento's....!!!!!!
Have you seen what they do to a bottle of coke !!!!!
I would suggest you drive off-boost until you can get to a dyno.
