Been to the winter version of this event and its not a bad day out if you're fairly new to rallying. Its not as good as getting out to proper stages in the forests (and not as cheap ) but its much more local and doesn't require a load of hiking to get there!

This is the first time they've run it in the summer. Tickets are £13 online or £15 on the gate. Anyone fancy it?

Unfortunately this event coincides with,

Rally X at Lydden.

Depends on your interest. Despite normally prefering rallying to rallycross, i'd pick the Lydden event as its always a great days racing.

The rallying at Brands isn't bad, but its not proper rallying

Rally X its much better to race another car than the clock..

Its only just up the road from Ashford.
