And thankyou everyone. Its, as far as I know, completely standard. Apart from the wheels. I don't mind the wheels. Will be getting brembos in the future.

I wanted a P1 or type r, but its handy having 4 doors as the kids don't climb behind the seats and trample all over the place.

Been in the country for 3 months. Mint underneath, not one spot of rust. Arches are clean as you like. Wheels are nearly mint.
There are some age related marks inside on the plastics. Which will be getting sorted over time.
Cat still in place, decent exhaust. Engine has got quite high mileage but it sounds damn good for what its done.

Got it booked in at SMD next week for cambelt, ripped out all the old stereo and toll road poo from japan and installed a double din stereo from a uk 2001 wrx, works pwerfect.
Full fluid change after that with plugs...............................
Then the fun begins.

Bring on the classics........
Looking nice but loose the newage STi alloys. I've never liked them on a classic......but maybe that's just me.

It's not just you mate, but he wants brembos so he's kinda limited and already sorted.

Get it undersealed ASAP IMO

LOL. They are looking better than a generic pair of allys from halfrauds so im quite content for now.
To be honest I will be going for either rota grid drift or gtr's. Eventually.

mortster.
I am a member of typera.co.uk but havnt been on there for along time, we used to have a 95 type wra ra. My car has actually been discussed on both typera and sN. Will be on there soon to write up about the car. Some negative which is inevitable.
But its by far the best ive had and the seller was a genuine lad who ill keep in touch with as he said if I ever think about selling he would buy it back.
japancardirect is the company, he has an uncle who lives in japan and he sells the cars here.

More than happy with the car and will be making some apperances at meets etc.

underseal will be done too. think I will be trying to get that done very soon, but such a shame to ruin the underside its that clean.

Quite happy with the power delivery too. Very quick and smooth delivery. Still very quiet and comfortable drive. Really is a different feeling to a modded drive.

Its all done from factory anger. All fixings are Subaru fixings. Would assume they ordered them as extra.
don't make sence that you would order an RA then put all the bits on it to make it a standard sti.
Guess they wanted the stronger rear diff, dccd, shorter final drive etc, but wanted the look of sti?????? Who knows.......
I like the fact its different from the others. IT seems to have been loved in japan, stored inside, seats kept well........ its in better condition than a lot of other cars ive had. Gives me a little bit of confidence about the engine being on the high side.
