Why

The P1 is only an investment if you find another enthusiast.

It may a labour of love yes.

but you will constantly be having to spend money on it.

For what you have to spend on it you can easily get the spec C.

The P1 will never be able to be driven like you would like to with out spending £ ???s

It perhaps should be in a museum.

Like the McRae specials.

Martyn, when I think of the stuff you were looking at before you got the P1, that spec C is small beer! The amount of times you looked past better spec c's than that one

I really wish I had turned mine in for that orange RAR

If it was a 2.0 jdm spec c i would say buy.... But not now with that engine.... Took a bullet proof high revving engine out and replaced it with a lazy lower revving weaker engine... Madness

You can always buy it and change it back to a 2ltr for next to nothing .
I'd also take rons arm off and take the spec c

P1 Prototype IMHO needs to be taken right back to standard, orig wheels as in promo shot's, engine steam cleaned, OE spec powder coat and Alochrome where required, no samco, no decat, no forge dv. Then start on the underside, to bring up to a OE standard concours (not bling-bling concourse). Then used little....that's the only way to maintain it as an investment.

It's a nice idea, but not a practical one if you want to use it and 'enjoy' it.
