Default Weapons of Mass Dysfunction

To celebrate the Squadron Leader's return to front-line duty, a new weapons system has been partially released from the secret list: The Thudbolt Missile System has completed final trials.

"Silver Wing", piloted by F. Off Krud "No-bars" Simpleton, can be seen "missiles extant" after completing trials. The Wing Mirror Cloak Conversion went not without mishap, however, when the loading tray folding mechanism (needed to ensure good aerodynamics when missile system not in use) was rendered inactive when a not-concentrating boffin trod on the arming mechanism and suffered Club Foot as a result.

Obviously, all the internal cabin controls are still top secret, as is the guidance system, and the method by which missiles are stored in the wing mirrors.

Dickie Dangworthy-Trumpet, top boffin and inventor, poses triumphantly, following the Squadron Leader's acceptance into service of the Thudbolt, which Dickie triumphantly holds aloft.
