Default Hillman Imp

Have a new project which will be a bit different , Hillman imp with a Impreza engine & 5 speed . Have a rolling shell of an Imp and now looking for an crashed impreza for a doner . Will be a long term project so nothing is going to happen very quickly but looking forward to building it . will put some pics up soon
Looking to get 350 to 400bhp out of it and to way 750kg ish with full cage.
hoping to be something like this

Sounds like fun mate

Glad you decided on the scoob engine route, rather than from a Busa might add to the weight a bit but its something you can work on, knowing them inside out.

quite a few escorts and focus shells have been done, and a friend built a Pug 206 WRC style car for rallycross...........

was then sold as a rolling shell and a certain company then claimed they did it.........

Should be interesting CJ. The biggest challenge will be getting it out of where it is now!

Cheer for the thought but have been looking round and I'll Probably go with a newage wrx with coil packs plus I know they take 400bhp with out touching them .
Also not ready for a donar car yet
£1000 for a stolen recovered 54 plate on blue cycle at mo which would do every thing and sell a few bits and cost a couple hundred for a donar
