Smile Brighton Marina meet, Saturday 20th August @7pm

Ok guys and Ladies, due to the success of this months meet, myself and Kirk thought we better organise the next one, way in advance.

The last meet 15 scoobs participated so hopefully we will beat that, idea is to meet up at Pease pottage services @ 5.45pm for everyone who lives this way and meet up at the BP garage on the A23/A27 interchange@ 6.30pm . We then cruise down Madeira Drive in brighton, and come in to the meet using the 2 small tunnels for all those with loud exhausts.

We congregate under the ramp you come into the marina, turn into asda and then turn 1st left under the ramp.

Pease Pottage location link:-

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/place?...49445836754424

BP garage location link:-

http://www.192.com/atoz/business/bri...7451604c4d/ml/

Marina location link:-

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&...ed=0CF0QnwIwAQ

So come on people, it will only be a success if you come along and ill photograph your car.

I'll pop down as well if i'm free (not sure yet, might be busy as getting married the following week!)

Do you go over to one of the pubs or restaurants in the marina for food and a beer, or just stay in the car park?

Think of the positives:-
  1. Its free, (apart from Fuel so use the fuel that you wife wants you to take her shopping with)
  2. Its local...............................ish
  3. You stay dry, so your car stays clean (bring a cloth to wipe if it rains on the way)
  4. We dont descriminate.............................as long as it has a scooby badge, mrk2 escorts exempt
  5. We are a happy bunch and enjoy a good laugh, what more do you need so come on down.

Fantastic result on possible attendees, thanks to you all and there is plenty of room for a LOT more. Got asked about a cruise down from devils dyke, how about it rather than meet at BP, thoughts please? Many thanks.

I would recommend against meeting at the BP with more than a few people at this time of day!

We meet there for Goodwood breakfast clubs at 7am on a Sunday and its fine, but theres nobody about at that time of day. It'll be far too busy if you need this many cars to wait.

The BP we're talking about is the one on the Patcham Roundabout - where the A23 and A27 meet just outside Brighton.

But i think Devils Dyke is a better place if theres more than a few meeting up first.
