big thanks to NL03Scooby rob,my faith in forum members has been restored! also allyn as performance had hardly put the phone down and the millers had arrived!Picked up the new 6 speed sunday and spent today fitting it(in my garage)no more crunching synchros.. didnt even dare eat incase i put on afew pounds i was that limited for space... thought id post up a few piccys.as a result i have a 6 speed box which is notchy into 6th under load! up for grabs if anyones intersted.



The misses likened this to an operating theatre...???




Wasnt taking any chances on the car coming down so deployed some of my stands from work..

Glad you got it all sorted mate, I still cannot believe you got that all done by yourself in a day in your garage, madness!

Wonder how many people have photos of their cars with 2 6 speed gearboxes in front of it...

was bloody heavy and more fiddly than some of the 30 ton wagons i work on..

Is it dccd or non dccd 6speed box .
