Just purely spectating this time.

It was a last minute decision to go just a few days before the event.

Sailed over on friday night, race was 16:00 Sat - 16:00 Sunday

Just got home today.

It was awesome, I would recommend you do this some time.

This will definately be an annual event for me from now on.

21st overall and first in class.

Pretty impressive given the kind of cars and budgets they were up against.

Me too mate

I was thinking the Nurburgring 24hrs would be a fantastic event to go and see whilst watching the Le Mans coverage - which is quite a boring circuit in comparison!

Watched the start at the car park
Went back to hotel for carrot soup & steak
Back to Adenau until early Sunday morning
Couple of hours kip in the car in Adenau
Then in GP circuit from about 4AM till Sunday afternoon.

Access all areas weekend pass was 52 Euros with free parking and free shuttle bus between all viewing areas

Lots of beer, loud music, fireworks and general merryment of the international variety. Oh and some awesome racing.

The only thing missing was some track time but I will be planning that in for next years trip.

My target is one trip per month for the forseeable future.

Done April May and June so far my birthday is next month so thats a good excuse for a trip then August with another mate and maybe September with Nige & co.
After that im not sure yet but I could easily be persuaded.

Im not obsessed am I?

That sounds like a proper boys weekend

It's got to be worth planning a mass trip to this

Either next year as a "boys weekend" trip, or maybe the year after to coincide with our annual trip?
