Default intermitent idling problem

Hiya
heres my problem,my scoobs going realy well (at the moment) only for the last week or so,i have had erratic idling, but only when i put my foot down..
if i drive say normaly,it idles around 1200 but if i put my foot down hard, its idling between 2000-2500 but if i put the clutch down and rev a few times comes back generaly to 1200,or just driving the scoob normaly does it too, have tried WD40 on the throttle cable, but still not fixed it,only thought was an idle sencor

Any thoughts on this please...trace..x

Does sound like Idle Control fault. 1200rpm is too high anyway. Should be around 850rpm.

Your model should have adjustment on the ISCV but seeing as you have a reverse inlet on their, I'm not sure if or where it would be (can't make it out on you signature).

just realised you Signature was a clicky.
The ISCV is just under your strut brace, with the grey connector on it.
Mark it's current position, then take it off and clean out with carb cleaner.
Refit where it is and try it. Then with the slotted fixing adjust to drop the idel down from 1200rpm to >1000rpm
