Default New back box

After loads of research, I ordered one of these today. It seems it should sit somewhere between a prodrive and my afterburner sound wise and it appears to be good for flow/performance. I also fancied going back to the traditional look rather than the Jap look. It came down to either this or the TSL, but I have had the TSL before so thought I would have a change. I'll let everyone know the verdict when its on later this week.

IMHO mate it won't be much different to the PPP box due to the baffles in the tailpipe.
However, it may be a touch louder then the PPP if the in/out pipes to the silencer are straight through rather then staggered as per the PPP box.

Know what you mean Scott. Its a nightmare trying to pick one. I am hoping that with the decat it will just give it a nice low burble. I spoke to Scoobyworld again this morning and they say that it sits somewhere between the two, so we will wait and see. I can always change it again if I dont settle on it!!. All I do know is I cant keep the afterburner as its to loud to live with day to day and with the bung in its too restrictive, plus looks pants!

That's nice martyn. I fancied one of those too but it was just falling out of budget at the moment as I wasn't planning on a change yet.

When I fitted a h&s to Gsus Scoob the other week, I was surprised how loud it was after taking his GRD system off

Oh and TSL have finally totally closed down

Does look nice steve but i bet after a while you'll want to go back to a louder pipe! ,

Iv'e just put an afterburner on with the big old jap angle and love the way it looks and sounds, wouldn't want my classic any other way.

Dont get me wrong, I love the sound of the afterburner, but I use the car every day for work etc. If it was weekends, I would probably keep it. Pre decat it was about right, but since the decat its just a bit much.

We have one of those on the Sport with an Afterburner middle section, it isn't exactly quiet!

It arrives tomorrow at my office so I will have to just look at it and make the noises until I fit it. Wont be as embarrasing as the noises I had to make for the afterburner though, as that is louder
