The anchor inn at Barcombe was our xmas venue last two years and was great food yet its on the list

Its not the food that they're judging. More the cleanliness of the environment that it was stored and/or cooked in.

Exactly ,, cleanliness and use and understanding and use of proper procedures ,,, youd be amazed how many workers in the food industry have never even heard of a basic food hygiene course let alone sat one

Thai Marina in Eastbourne is one of my favourites. Always seems to be packed on the weekends, I reckon the filth must contribute to the taste somehow.

Can't believe how many places are on this list. have to say it does put me right off them now. Watched to much of that Gordon Ramsay thing where he goes into the kitchen store cupboard a pull out the maggot ridden produce that they're serving to customers

Take the Gordon Ramsey thing with a pinch of salt, I know one of the places he visited and basically they were told to make it look bad, so some of it is staged.

Yeah, I suppose anywhere could have bad or out of date food if you catch them on the wrong day.
