Turbo Problem
HELP........
Went for a remap yesterday, and the turbo didnt make anything. The spool was at 4800, its good when it kicks in but by that time your changing gear. So not very happy with it. I am totally gutted, £600 and no better off, with BHP. Does anyone have any ideas, as the mapper said it can only be down to the turbo. He tried a few things and still wouldn't do much, he did mention about a warped housing, but this doesn't mean much to me. Please help. Need cheering up. |

Re: Turbo Problem
Feel deflated, if I were polluted with money then it wouldn't bother me to much. But took a while to sort money out and girlfriend helped by paying some money towards remap. Then this problem.
CJ when you going down to see Pat? Hopefully have Chris's VF35 on there. Be great to see 330 from it. |

Re: Turbo Problem
i have spoken to meny of people about this, i fine it very hard to belive that a turbo would blow up due to swaping cars (because it made very good sppol on mine) before swap.
chips as i have said to you you are more than welcome for a refund and fitment, this dosent solve the issue.as i cant see how it can be the turbo unit itself at fault, i would like to get the car back to the garage to check for exhaust blow before the turbo and valcume pipes etc before i would say it was the turbo. all i can say is i am sorry for the inconvence, i would never sell anythink i am not happy on as i like to think as my customers as freinds as well.

Re: Turbo Problem
Guys i am locking this thread, as both parties have now spoken,And this seems a good point in which to draw a line.
Any further correspondence should in my opinion be made away from a public forum. Thank you for your understanding. |
