Default SES Attendance @ Go Japan/Tunerfest South - Sunday 13th September

Covid-19 allowing Tunerfest South is back at Brands Hatch. This time joining with Go Japan

http://south.tunerfest.co.uk/club-stands/

Tickets booked through the above link, using the code as below
Select join club stand and use Car club code : 96945094

All members must book in individually. The system is fully automated and you can only register attendance by completing the online form. There is no limit on the number of cars on each stand, albeit there may be national restrictions imposed if social distancing is still a requirement at that stage.

Based on the final number of cars, we will be automatically allocated an area of the right size in the right part of the show.

On the lead up to the event, the system will then email instructions and vehicle passes direct to each registered member.

TICKETS

All visitors to the show will require a ticket which should be purchased directly from the venue website. As the event has joined forces with the Go Japan show, tickets for both are valid on the day:

https://brandshatch.msv.com/BH-20-gojapan

A limited number of tickets will also be available at the gate, albeit at a slightly higher price.

Adults £16 each
Teens (13 to 15) £9 each
Children (Under 13) Free

Really, just the three of us?! Surely we can do better than this?

Did you receive a vehicle pass yet, I'm still waiting or have they changed the procedure.

Nothing except the email last week, which says we'll get another email this week!

"PLEASE NOTE: A second bulletin will be issued next week and will contain:
  • Your vehicle pass
  • A site plan showing the location of your club stand
  • A timetable confirming your arrival time
  • Further details about the show"

OK, details just in. We are in club space #63, in the main paddock. Entry due to be 0730–0800 through the north entrance gate (the big parking field, not the main gate), though I'm not sure we'll make it by then!

There is also a club listed as "Southdowns French Car Club and SE Scoobies" - anyone want to own up to this??

Essex Scooby Crew have apparently got 62 cars coming!

Yes this is the original booking we made for back in June which was cancelled.

I requested a large stand that we could split in two as I was doing SES and also French Car Club.

Due to work commitments and uncertainty around Covid I was unwilling to go forward with the revised September date, which had also changed the format of the event. So yes I own up.

The organisers were informed that the original booking wouldn't be required.

The French Car Club and myself have also moved on due to internal issues that I wasn't willing to get involved with so I am no longer an admin on there.

Hope you guys have a good time, but due to so much uncertainty and also having to be a responsible club, in which we promote social distancing, I think this was never going to be a huge event for us.

Since there are only three of us, coming from different directions, I reckon it's best to just meet at the stand in the paddock.
