Just a reminder people that for this event you all need to purchase your own tickets from the link provided above.

Once you have purchased please update the attendance list confirming payment.

Once we have final numbers I will contact the event to allocate space. I need to do this 2 weeks prior to the 30th July. So 12th would be the SES cut-off to allow processing time.

Cheers

Is the price the same when arriving at the event or do you need to buy them before?

Also any convoys going to this event from Kent?

Kind regards,

Subaru Collector 555.

I believe you can pay the same entrance on the day as long as you park in the event with a suitable vehicle.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but it's my first SES event. Do we need to arrive together or is it just a case of parking up wherever once we arrive?

I'm going to be on hol in Dorset this week, but will see if I can get up there if I can get away from the family or combine with some pony spotting. I probably know until the day as it will be based on the emotional stability of my childs or maybe me own

Sorry to be really awkward but we are staying in southampton on the Saturday night, so would there be any chance of meeting you guys a bit closer to beaulieu to save me having to drive 45 mins in the wrong direction only to turn around and drive back?

There is a holding area car park on the way into the event. You could wait there.

Sounds like a good idea. What time are you hoping to arrive? And who/what am I looking out for? I'll be in my 2008 Impreza GB270

Looking at the map it will take anything from 42mins to an hour from Chichester meet point to Beaulieu. Dave says he will work out a meet point for you

I will be handing out screen tickets/badges which you will need in order to get in/directed on arrival at the event. So you 'need' to meet at the above.

(shamelessly copy pasted)
Nice one mate, looking forward to it

Does anyone know if the event will still take place as the forecast for Beaulieu shows 12hours + of rain today and I believe the cars will be parked on the grass.

Its a big event, I can't ever see them cancelling it because of rain the day before. It'll drain away pretty quickly, I reckon at worse they will just rope a few lower parts which might be boggy to stop cars parking on them.

As CJ says, forecast for tomorrow looks good until late afternoon, it should dry out quickly enough. Last year we were complaining about dust on the gravel access roads!
