Loving that, I'd feel slightly out of place on a run with all those V8's

The rest of the run was around 80 miles through Hampshire taking into about 18 or so of the best tunnels available. Fair enough a lot of these where railway tunnels and pretty short but was still a top day.....its not every day you get to play with a collection of motors like that! As soon as Hindhead is open then it will get done until we get banned! Dont start getting like the MLR, I made the mistake of posting up there and immediately just got the response "dont get it, its not a tunnel..end of"! |

Some nice motors there. But no tunnels. It would be different if you went up to London.

Winchester railway tunnel was the best one, another bloke in a STI was trying out his new camera mount and that was all he got. London would be better but a bit of a trek out. Next one is just all the best A roads (which is what Hampshire is good at, and was good on this run) I'll put the date up when I know so anyone who is interested can pop along. As stated below, you do feel a little out of place next to some who obviously have very deep pockets but its always very well organised (breakfast is always good) and they are really nice blokes. As I always say, they might be just Jap boxes but the running costs are not to be sniffed at and probably compare almost to theirs....mine do anyway!! Crowman was planning to come but I think his back is still really bad which was a shame. Thanks for all the positive comments, dont forget to let me know if you have anything coming up where you dont mind "the Jap enemy" popping over!! |

Nice one Dave, Yep was 100% coming to this, but drove to work which is 55 miles and was in agony.
We do our own little eraly morning london tunnel run and photo shoot, finishing with breaki at the ace cafe which is cool. Dont forget to get along to Japbash, fair few months away but is a good weekend, camping was quality last year. |
