Yes it is mate.

They should have e-mailed you confirmation when you booked the ferry.

If not, give them a call and get them to do it for you. You will be on the records as going on the ferry (or your reg number anyway) but it's better to do a belt and braces

What is it they say about great minds.

For those that have not been before, you must be careful when filling up with petrol.

Personaly i didnt have any issues with fuel, every garage I filled up in had super unleaded and the garage just down the road from the hotel had super premium fuel that was 100+ ron that makes you fly (well nearly)

NF octane boost from Rodger Clarke is a good thing to take as a just in case. It doesn't cost allot & could save you £££££ [Worzel]

Sorry chris, your posts seem to contradict each other. In one you state that you have kids, and in another you claim 4 days is a long time without sex. Your house obviously doesnt work the same as mine

Time to get back on topic guys, sorry.

Please all look at the list below and get these things arranged before it's too late.

It looks like the wig and tash idea has gone by the wayside, so don't worry about that guys.

I have gone overkill on the cars documents and taken the V5 and MOT as well. Probably not needed, but better safe than sorry.

The Check List

FOR THE CAR

1: Spare Bulb Kit
2: Warning Triangle
3: Hi Visibility Vests (1 for each person in car)
4: Headlight Beam Deflectors
5: Fire Extinguisher
6: First Aid Kit
7: Octane Booster
8: Oil (optional but advised)
9: GB Sticker
10:Spare Key
11: Sat Nav (with European Data)
12: Crash Helmet
13: European Insurance & Breakdown Cover (make sure it covers repatriation, just in case)
14: Track insurance (those insured with Keith Micheals, call Moley)
15: Driving License (including Paper Part)
16: Locking wheel nut tool

PERSONAL ITEMS

1: Ferry Tickets (confirmation e-mail) & Passports
2: E 111
3: Euro's and debit / credit cards (inform bank that you are away for safety)
4: Mobile Phone & Charger
5: Headache Tablets (trust me)
6: European Plug Adaptor

Those with TOM TOM's down load the shell garages onto your european maps.

This thread will be locked now. If there is anything that has been missed from the list, please contact a moderator to add to the list.
