Default Hello from a Very Newbie!

Evening all

Just thought i'd post a quick Introduction. Appologies for the awful user name, thought it was quite clever at the time! As you can probably guess my name is Stuart and today I took ownership of my very first Scooby. It's an 03 Blobeye Type UK STI PPP. It was dyno'd at 340 a few years ago, what ever it is now running, it's enough to wake the dead! Very very happy with it as you can imagine. Looking forward to joining the Scooby community and look forward to attending meets, shows etc.

Regards, Stu

Thank you all for your welcomes, much appreciated.

Where is best to post a thread asking for prices to do my Cam/Timing belt please? Garage, General, or elsewhere?

Cheers! I bought it from just down the road from me in West Worthing (Sussex). GRD have done some work to it a few years ago by the owner previous to whom I bought it from. It's the World rally blue colour, i'll take and put pics up tomorrow if i get time. Thanks for your reply.

mate, good choice of colour ha ha. There are some very good scooby mechanics on here, and a really helpful bunch of members who know just about all you will ever need to know about scoobies, hopefully we can go to a meet soon to show it off.

Morning from just down the road (LA) - know a few useful local places for smaller jobs if you need a hand give me a shout, for Timing belt etc. I'd see if C.J. (Horsham) can sort it otherwise Brent at SMD is a good bet.

Cheers Andy

Here's a link (for anyone that's interested) to GRD's site and my car when it was originally tuned by the owner previous to whom I bought it from.
