Default Goodwood Breakfast Club / Pub Lunch - Sunday 3rd October

As the last Goodwood Breakfast Club meeting was a great morning out, we'll be doing the same for this one. Sunday 3rd October is 'Souped-Up Sunday', starting at 8am at Goodwood Circuit. All welcome, and the event is free

Meeting points will be Patcham BP Garage (leave 7:15am) and Fontwell Shell Services (leave 7:40am) if needed so we can convoy and arrive together. Last time we were allowed to line up on the circuit as a club.

From there, we'll leave about 11:30am go onto a pub for lunch (or just come for a drink!) either at the Anchor Bleu in Bosham (South of Chichester) http://www.bosham.org/anchor/

or

The Old Stables at Fontwell (A27): http://www.vintageinn.co.uk/theoldst...ntwell/findus/

This event is not one of the actual SES Pub Meets (which is still booked for 16th October at the Woodman, Ide Hill) - but is instead another excuse to visit a pub after a morning out at Goodwood

Put us down for this!

Well it will be an (ish) as the 2nd will be the Stag and Hen dos! I believe from Sian who is far more organised than me that some of the 'other halves' have already confirmed the Hen!

The last one was great so I'm gutted I can't make this as I'm away on business I'm going to the Goodwood Revival at the weekend - not sure there'll be many scoobs there though!

should be at the Patcham roundabout as usual - 7:20am?

But i have to echo Tim's comment, weather report looks bad... what are peoples thoughts? if its pouring down we're only going to end up cringing under one of the garage bits out the back!

yep, the weather's well and truely gone and stuffed this one up i think. Winter must be on the way and all that!

As Ian said, weather forecast is heavy rain all morning so i think its best to cancel this one. If its raining we'll be bored of standing under the garages within a hour or so and it'll be several hours too early for a pub lunch, so no real point in the meet. I'm guessing the rain will put a lot of other people off from bringing out their motors too.

I'll let Nick/Sian know as i very much doubt he'll be online before tomorrow morning!

This is unbelievable. Its sunny here with more blue sky than cloud. The sooner we get forecasters that actually know what its going to do.............

Bloody typical.

With all the millions of pounds worth of equipment they still cant get it right.
