Default 2014 subaru wrx sti

So thought I would post about my car and what I want to do with it as I've had it since March even though I didn't drive for a month 😂

So far since getting the car I have put:
A cobra turbo back exhaust with a tune
a GFB blow off valve
Black roof wrap and top of spoiler

Also I've cleaned some of the engine bay parts as they were all corroded and didn't look good against the nice red intake.

Future plans for the car are to:
Add some coilovers just to go slightly lower
Add some rota 19' by 9.5j wheels (what's everyone's opinion on this?)
Upgraded brake discs and pads all and braided lines around as mine are squeaky as hell. I've seen some black diamond brakes are these any good?
Would love to go fmic but very expensive
A new clutch as mine is slipping every no and then in sixth gear when I hit peak boost

There are probably loads of other things I would love to do but can't think of anything at the moment 😂
I would also add some pictures but unfortunately I still can't as I got some great pictures from my recent trip around snowdonia.

What would everyone say the best mods to these cars are? Would be good to get some more inspiration.

What tune is it running as there are not as many options on the later cars.

I had previously not bothered looking at them, because I want to tune, but most places/options/tools only list support upto 2009, 2011 max.

I've recently started looking again into whether I can 'get into' the 2014+ ECU and it look like I my be able to. I've already got some EDM STi 2014/2015 OEM baselines to look at.

Reason being that I need a car to use as a daily/family. I've exhausted most avenues (and sold my Focus RS) and keep coming back to Subaru.
I also have my eye on a white STi with Roger Clarke history ;o)

Hi Scott, why did you decide to sell the Focus RS? Something you couldn't get on with?

Ride, general build quality, reliability and shoddy Ford support/service.

Head Gasket x 2
Then follow on issues/leaks post head gasket
Steering Rack x 2 (needed a 3rd by the time I sold).

Apparently, head gasket was also done wrong. So it needed a new head, prior to dealer I sold it too selling it on.

It spent more time at the dealers in 2 years than my Subaru has in 19 years.

The car is a great concept badly executed and supported.
You won't find a better handling car in that price bracket. But you need to be very tolerant (or not give a ****) to own one as a daily.

I'm certainly not the 1st and won't be the last to move one on. Just look at the amount for sale. Give it another 6 months and all the specialist dealers will not want to stock them, once the manufacturers warranty runs out and they end up liable.

I got mine tuned by jf automotive in Maidstone as its down the road from me and they tuned my gt86 when I had it.

The graph they gave me shows its pushing 331 bhp and 561nm of torque (I would post it but I still can't post pictures &#128579.

Well after seeing that my future car won't be a focus RS 😂.

I was kinda hoping someone might have done something but could be interesting being one of the first 😂.

There seems to be alot of tuning options and parts available to the American Market but less so to the English market which is annoying but there are still coilovers, brakes, induction kits available here for a premium though.

Those figures are about right for a stage 1 tune.
Did they flash the ECU or fit a piggyback module.

Interested to know as I think the only flash options used in the UK are ECUTEK or Cobb.

I I believe it was a flash as there are no piggyback modules that I know of and I believe they use there own way of flashing as when they tuned my gt86 I asked them if they were going to use EcuTek(which I used after supercharging it) and they said no they use there own or something.
