Default Aztec performance brake discs and pads

See they have a sale on at moment and wondered what they are like compared too oem and ebcs with red stuff...

Costs are very different hence the quest...

You only get what you pay for.

Often sales contain the products no one else wants in my opinion.

I will stick with AS.Performance..

I assume they are the braketech discs that Aztec sell? I've used them before and found them fine. Not sure what pads Aztec have in their sale but they'll probably be an upgrade over oem discs with redstuff pads

So would a rice cake and some cream crackers though!

Another vote for Alyn. Very helpful and honest guy. Looks to sell you what you need not what he has a surplus of.

Those discs from bob that you linked are not the braketech ones by the looks of them, though I think he does sell them, Spend as much as you possibly can on your front brakes, you really do get what you pay for as Ian says... Its the one bit people seem to try and go cheap on,.. and you have to ask yourself the same as you would with fitting cheap tyres.. its your life/car front end etc.. Would you buy a cheap rope to go rock climbing? (sorry vw!)

Yeah, what Dave says..... the ones in that link aren't braketech and tbh look pretty poo. I wouldn't buy drilled and grooved as plenty are known to crack when they get hot. Grooved is fine.

These with the PF.11 pads will be much much better:
http://www.superhids.co.uk/brakes/br...ront-pair.html

But 3 times the price.... as everyone says, you get what you pay for.

Try Alyn
