Default Site slow.

Is this because it's a Scoobie site? [sorry could not ressist] Only really noticed this today.

Thanks Nige

There's another thread about it here:
http://www.southeastscoobies.co.uk/v...ead.php?t=6296

We're monitoring it at the moment, but its certainly something we are aware of

Why are we now getting this come up. Never seen it before??

Thank you for posting! You will now be taken to your post. If you opted to post a poll, you will now be allowed to do so.

Is this not slowing things more??

You didn't ask if anyone else fancied one

Hope you had a nice selection of biscuits with it

Next time make me one I'm thinking of getting a flask next to the Mac

Been changing a lot of things behind the scenes today which won't have helped with the slow down issues.

The extra page after posting was the result of a change within the forum control panel, its supposed to be better with the redirect page but as you mention, surely it slows things up! Have changed the setting again to lose the page

Have spent hours in there today checking through all the settings an trying to optimize as best I can and have only really scratched the surface

When its running ok, its a fast as I / we would ever need it to be, this is whats leading us to believe its a hosting issue. We will look into hosting issues when Crowman and I have had chance to get together and look at options.

Its annoying for us too, so we won't just leave it
