Default Brands Hatch Winter Stages Rally - 12th January 2013

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I know a few of us have been in the past so I thought I'd post this up here to give everyone a heads up.

The Brands Hatch Winter Stages Rally is back again, this time on the 12th January 2013. Official website for the event can be found here:

http://brandshatchstages.co.uk/

More information to be released in the coming weeks!

Ha, yeah! Not sure if I'll go myself yet, but I thought it was worth chucking up early so everyone knows about it.

Excuse the double post, spectator map now up:

Glad to see they have addressed the complaints of previous years: looks like full circuit access (except for the inside of Druids?) and a stage crossing point.

Might go to this as my local mechanic, Vince, in his Mk1 Escort, has managed to get an entry.

Time for a bump now christmas is out of the way - might go to this now that Sunseeker isn't on in February anymore. Long wait for some rally action otherwise!

The entry list looks pretty interesting...

(Ferrari 308 and 6R4 should be worth watching!)

...so, if the weather isn't total turd, I might give it a look!

Far from it mate, unfortunately. £15 on the gate per person.

Blimey count me out.
£15 to watch a bit of cone avoidance is a bit much.

Have to agree its a steep price for it, but if the weathers good i'll probably still go if a few folks are interested.

Just looked at the BTRDA 2013 Calendar and might go to the Wyedean (Feb 9th) as did that a couple of years ago and its a cracker, so not so long to wait for some proper rallying

Yep, pretty much. Doesn't take as long as you'd think to get there tho, can do it in about 2.5 hrs from here on an early morning run (first stage is normally Chepstow just off M48 bridge).

I definately won't be doing this now I've got some tickets for the motocross at the O2 Saturday night: and I can't really fit both into one day!

Be sure to take lots of pictures if you go guys!

No, weather was cold and wet, and don't think anyone else was going so didn't bother.

Wyedean next hopefully. Definitely going to Somerset stages in April as well as we've got a friend who's just bought a b&b in Porlock so can walk to the tarmac stage in the forest from there
