Because I find it boring as a circuit. Snetterton 300 is more challenging

Snetterton is brilliant can't wait to go back and do it again, as it was damp and greasy last time for me. Brands is a great track though

Was it the full 300 you did or the 200?
I'm off to Bedford Gt on the 27th March

No ,it looks a variety of surfaces. I'd imagine it's fairly dirty surface to which should be a challenge

I did Woodbridge, its ok but you can almost get lost if the circuit is not laid out well. Lots of bushes growing through the tarmac to avoid. Quite Top Gear esk with the hangers and stuff in the background. Not as good as some of the established tracks. Snet I love but always seem to have a car problem when I have been there. Rockingham is ace as well - not tried Bedford but want to.

V keen for a track day soon just need to prep the BM for its first outing.

Woodbridge Javelin Sprint - me in S3.....

I said back in January that i planned to sort a trackday before the Ring trip but its just not happened yet for me. Scoob needs a few bits and haven't got round to them yet (although I did place a couple of orders yesterday for bits )

I'd love to do this but can't do that week, doh.

Could well be up for this if I can get all that's needed on car sorted in time,

(yes there are still 1 or 2 bits I want done!)

All your info:

A Typical day will run like this:

Signing On (7:30-8:30)

Complete and sign the drivers indemnity form, driving licence check and allocation of instruction session if requested.

Noise Testing (8:00-8:30)

Before taking part in any track day, your vehicle is subject to a noise test. Please see the noise testing regulations to see how this is measured.

Safety Briefing (8:30 - 8:45)

This will cover everything you need to know about the day from rules of the event, through to car preparation, driving techniques, ettiquette and circuit information.

Familiarisation/Sighting Laps (9:00)

Familiarisation laps are carried out behind a pace car and give you a chance to experience each bend at a reduced speed and note the live marshal post and circuit conditions before unrestricted track time begins.

Track Time Begins (9:00 - 17:00)

Events will typically follow one of two formats with an hour break for lunch. Open Pitlane - you can go on and off circuit as you choose. Or sessions - vehicles are grouped according to the users track experience. Sessions are typically 20 minutes on rotation. It's time to put your vehicle through its paces. Warm your tyres, start off slow and build up your pace up throughout the day. There is no rush

Full 300, December the 8th they were doing a last minute deal, all day open pit and got it for £49!!
Amazing just a shame it was so greasy for front wheel drive, great for a quick learner to see if I like the track and I would go back asap.

Yes it was a good day meggy performed well as did I.

Ginola also had a good day too.

Rob unfortunately got black flagged for excess noise, so not good for him.

Was a lovely day and all the cars looked and sounded great out there. Rob had issues with noise as all Scoobies do so he went for a few passenger laps instead.

Photos later tonight and videos no doubt whilst eating the last two slices of lemon drizzle cake.

Thank you so much Ian for organising.

A lack of any cats or silencers between the turbo and back box and a 100mm tail pipe resulted in passing the static easy and blipping 100db on a couple of full hearted drive by's...

I got quite a few laps in before they stopped me, and I could have done something whilst there to help with my issues but chose to leave things be and enjoy some passenger laps with Dave and take some photos.

I was pleased with the car though, thoroughly enjoyed the day and am already looking at rectifying my noise issues along with booking my next track day, will try actually doing a full day this time!
