Default Forum downtime

Hi guys,

It looks like we had between 2-3 hours offline this evening - so apologies for that. Nothing to do with us, our hosts confirmed they were having problems....

Everything seems to be working now so I guess they've fixed it!

Unfortunately it seems we're still experiencing intermittant problems - sometimes it works, sometimes not. The latest update I have is:

We are currently seeing abnormal behaviour on these servers, and are investigating the causes.
We expect to have them back to normal operation soon, and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

UPDATE: We have suffered a critical failure on the storage nodes for this cluster which has resulted in a corrupt file system. During this time access to websites will be intermittent. We're working to replace failed hardware and restore access as quickly as possible. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused, and please be assured this incident is being treated with our highest priority.

Something like that mate Tbh, it sounds like someone fecked up or they didn't design their platform with sufficient resiliency

Latest update - things seem to be better now but there may still be some further hiccups....

We are currently experiencing some network connectivity issues across a number of web servers, and our admin team are working to get these resolved as soon as possible.

We apologise for the inconvenience, and should have all systems up and running again shortly.
