Im still trying to get to grips with et but in easy terms is it like say et48 will fit closer to hub face there fore sit in the arch more where as et22 35 38 will sit further away from hub face there fore fill the arch more and still clear brembos depending on spoke design or am i getting it all wrong .

You need to speak to fpan on subaruforester.org
He has his FSTi over in Germany for a while and has a couple of friends over there that may be able to help track down the car in the pics to get you the info. you are after. |

Excellent.
He's a lovely chap and his FSTi was the best example I've ever seen. He's currently awaiting delivery of a JDM 20th Anniversary Hatch from the motherland! |

Yeah, it'd be a R205 for me (so a fancy Spec C!).

Think they are defo 9.5 going by the curve of the spoke as 8 isnt as curved but the et35 on the 8 will fill the arch could always buy a 10mm spacer just to see how far my wheel would stick out then i would kind of know what im looking at .

Done some calculations on rim size so 9.5 would sit 22.7mm further out so will come out past the arch where as the 8 would sit only 6.7mm which would sit about flush with the arch so i think the safe option is going with 18x8 et35 .
