Travis Pastrana 826 BHP STi
Stumbled upon an interesting video on roadandtrack.com, "Gymkhana Returns". Shows the preparation of a 826bhp Subaru STi for the11th version of Gymkhana with Travis Pastrana driving. Awesome looking STi with an exhaust exiting through the bonnet!!!

Yeah the car looks sick. Few interesting facts about that car which I learnt from the video is that the exhaust tips are metal 3D printed and apparently the car doesnt use headgaskets??? Im assuming they have some type of "crush washer" system going like that found in many of the old american engines?

they will simply be using the tech that Prodrive developed years ago for the grpA / WC engines where it basically uses a 'coopers ring' and an extensive Oring.........

In recent times the build of the cars has generally been way more interesting than the videos. |
