removing steering wheel with an,airbag
How do I remove my steering wheel.
Do I have to disconnect the airbag(if so whats the best way) or can I pop the cover off and undo the nut. Cheers

airbags are usually held on by 2 bolts behind the wheel, turn wheel to reveal bolt and undo. normally a torx head bolt I think.
undo battery first and leave 20 mins to discharge the airbag circuits fully. only reconnect once everything is back together. when taking wheel off undo nut that holds wheel on, leave 1 turn of the nut on and give steering wheel a good pull. once loose, undo nut completely. saves you from getting a bloody nose and a black eye.

What Si said, personally a good 30min would be the way I'd go before undoing - just to be certain

Doesn't this case a problem with the seat belt pre tensioners and the airbag on passenger side?
