Im really losing my confidence in the 360 after having 6 of the little sods which have all given me the red rings of death! If this one goes, and it will as its been repaired once and is now making some loud whiring noises when hot, it'll be replaced with a PS3. blue ray player and casual gaming for me it is!

xbox doesnt seem to have that online appeal now to me and my mates, also the amount of players online seemed to have dropped on the certain games i play over the last few months. may be cos summers here?

Also feel that good interesting and gripping games like gears of war and grand theft auto are becoming thin on the ground or have massive release times inbetween storys, ie gears of war 1,2,3 etc...

And another thing, hopefully someone could be able to anwser, with Call of duty modern warfare 2 on xbox 360 microsoft want 1200 poxy gamer points every time they release new MP maps to purchase ( and half of them are revamped COD 4 maps, bloody cheek), Do playstation charge for these new maps as i know there online service is free and microsoft want 40 notes a year, and are they even avalible for the playstation version????? sorry rant over!

Sony are about to announce a tier system on the net work on ps3 that will have a monetry charge attached to it.

The newer 360's, built after sep 2009, run the newer jasper chip, which so far, we havent had a single one back for the old red light issue.

Assains Creed 3 comming, Gears 3, Halo Reach, although the last Halo, as Bungie now work for Activision...EA have got A new Medal of Honor comming, I'll have some online beta keys for the 21st June, looks the nuts!

So lots in the pipeline, and more to be announced at E3. Just wait a few days, lots of info comming.

And Kinect will blow you away!!!!

In nearly a year of owning a PS3, i can't recall a single problem with it. No crashes or anything (well, apart from in Dirt2! but thats just my driving! )

Oh yeah, there was some dodgy update released earlier in the year which broke something, but i heard about it before downloading it.....

Ahh, the amazing time stamp death!! The internal time clock chip had been porgramed wrong, and didnt know there was such a thing as a leap year, so it got to the end of Feb, and just kind of fell over....Killed every single old style PS3 for a short time, Sony rushed out a fix to cure it, thats why some people didnt even notice it.

Oddly, the same company that did the clock chip used to also do them for Microsoft, the were installed in all Zunes....which all famously died on new years eve a while back.

i have both ps3 and xbox. i got my ps3 when they first came out and i was childless at the time, 500 sheets was a lot of money but it has never broken down and has had some amazing smaller games come out. the 360 i got free with a phone contract and hasn't broken yet, but i just can't seem to find the games that i can on the ps3, amazing big games, not many smaller great games. would be nice to have a quiet one though, when i first fired it up it sounded like a helicopter was landing by my telly. lol
