Default Central locking or lack of!

Hi all,

I've done it again. Bought a 1997/98 R plate Impreza turbo (number 5).

It was going to be broken and I couldn't allow that (could I?)

Anyway, a few issues,

The central locking isn't working (I assume it has central locking). I can only unlock the driver's door then the others from inside.

Can anyone give me a clue if these were all fitted with locking, if so where the control box would be? and fuse?

Also, the odometer increases very slowly whereas speedo works fine. for example goes up one mile in about 5 miles.

Would appreciate some advice. Car will end up being a mobile billboard for my oil and oil additives businesses and possibly do a bit of track day stuff. It sppsrently has a prodrive ECU fitted. So will be kept road legal. Would just like it being correct.

It also has an OBD 2 port fitted but my omiscan will not recoginise a pre 2001 subaru.

Cheers

Ray

Sorted!

Was one of the 20amp fuses in engine bay. Now have a working clock, door warning light, interior light.

I love simple fixes!
