Default Driving lamps.

Has any one on here had the Prodrive Wr sport driving lamp package fitted on any of their cars? (the ones that replace the factory fog lamps) The Rb5 had them but seen it was an optional extra.
Curious did it improve night vision? did they last etc?
Wr1 owners do they make a difference ?

I'd like the WR PIAA option which was the RB5 setup.
Don't see these for sale much.

I've been searching around some older threads as lately been seeing some older classic. Pre 98 bumpers with the larger fitted sets and got me thinking. I saw then the wr1 had them as standard so I thought I'd ask if the Rb5 or wr1 owners who had this option kit fitted how effected they where.

Scott is the fog the same size on a Pre to face-lift classic?

I think it's the same size. But MY99 use a clear lenses rather than frosted/fluted

The wr sport pack this comes on with full beam I think? Not sure how wr1 set up it's all very new to me as normally I'd slap fog covers on as wasn't aware there was an option as standard fogs are pretty useless but I've stumbled across a new old stock wr package for the bug which I'm looking into getting but there isn't much info on the net about how good they are or how they operate?

The WR Sport system in the classic worked off full beam but could be disabled by using the fog light switch, at least that's what the blurb in the WR sport brochure says.
