Gems ECU run MAFLESS ?
Do Gems run MAFLESS As standard ?. Maf is in the pipe, but wondering whether its actually doing anything, I disconnected it at idle and seems to make no difference so wondering if gems runs mafless ?
How can I tell if Antilag is activated ?. How you do trigger it ?. Simon if you reading this - Can you recall this car ?. (Please see members profile) would have been around October 2010 time, client at the time would have been a guy call Mark Catton ?. Thanks |

only run Mafless............
as for a/lag then normally trigger is on a switch, possibly on the throttle pedal on start up or may not even be active.........

Alyn,
Does the gems use a standard lambda for closed loop control and if the lambda is disconected does it drop onto the base map as per an OE ECU. If the base map is 90% there it should therefore idle/cruise fine (although maybe not MOT friendly) ?? cheers |

depedns on age but most didn't have any lambda control and are simply "map to suit" as is most of Motec, etc......
