Default Car SOS

Thankfully not mine but a Subaru is apparently appearing on this Thursday's show for those that are interested. It's on National Geographic.

Interesting to see what Fuzz says about them on camera. He wasn't too complementry with his commentary at Bromley pageant a couple of years back.

Oh really?! Be interesting as you say then. What did he say about them initially?

A 99 Impreza, not sure I want to see it, the rust might scare me. What's the betting they get some parts from JPP.

Just take a tactical "pop the kettle on" break when they start looking at the rear end or get it up on the ramp for a poke about.

Isn't that the law for any TV show doing anything with a Subaru?!

I thought it looked quite iconic with the stickers. Nice story too.

Just watched it on Youtube.
Not a bad episode. Glad to see Tim has reigned in playing the fool a touch when visiting suppliers.
They do tend to edit out alot on this show, as you often see images of shiney new parts they forgot to mention.
I'm pretty sure they didn't throw the old rusty suspension back on.

Continuity was a bit off, when the Turbo was going in it had no front suspension yet they'd just showed the new brakes being fitted, could have done with a standard scoop on it as well, especially as it had a front mount. Shows they can be rescued though even when they're that far gone.
