Default Turbo 2000

I've just bought a 98 turbo 2000, I have the old ecu injectors and 225 fuel pump from my old year 2000 import, if I can get hold of a vf 29 turbo as I had on the old car can I fit these bits and they work with the ecu?
Cheers

If not what can I do to release a few more horses?
It has an api rebuilt engine, full de cat and bell mouth down pipe

Thanks Scott, do you know if the standard ecu can be re mapped?
Is it a bit of a waste of time/ money to improve the 2000?
Thanks

97/98 ECU cannot be remapped unless ESL have finally sorted their daughterboard for it.
