Default little oil

Just looked at my drive and have seen some oil spots..

Had a look under and it does not look straight forward as I cant even see where it could be coming from, going to have another look in a while and see if I can track down.

I have checked the oil levels and they have not changed and she is running smooth and quiet..

She had an oil change a little while ago mmmmmm (not done by me)

Whos a good mech on here ????

Once again I have seen some oil spots on the floor..

Now I have checked the oil level a few times and she is still showing F (full), I can seem to track down where it might be coming from.

I m wondering if its just old oil spill in the engine bay that is dripping every so offen..

Its got me twisted ...ahhhhh

like I said at the start, no oil loss

I parked up for the film tonight in a carpark which had a lovely white box painted on the floor so I parked over it, so if I did get an leak then I would be able to point it.

I had a little leak, (Checked the oil - still showing F (full) so no real loss) anyway it looked like it might have come from the sump area maybe the seal.

Would this sound right ?? would the fact the car is still and the oil has fallen back into the sump that the amount of oil is leaking out of the seal ??? or is there something above the sump that is more likely to be it ???

in case you havent, a slow leak is more likely somewhere else on the engine and is just taking time to run down the side of the engine to the sump where it drips off.
my money would be on gasket on the cam covers, or somewhere on the steering pump lines.

Funny thing is its gone again, cant seem to trace it..

I m getting no lose of oil neither, I m wondering if there is some mucky oil in the engine bay and if the car is washed or similar it loosen the oil / dirt and drips for a little while..

I was going to get the engine cleaned but being its petrol I was not to sure ....

I have a small leak on mine,I think its the rocker cover gasket, but the car never uses any oil.I think its that when a little oil hits the floor it always looks more than it is.
