looks to just be a list of names on the Nottinghamshire Scoobies site. Saw something on scoobynet about it being at Prodrive - have Prodrive said what sort of event they're putting on? Opening the workshops/heritage centre as per the P1 anniversary/McRae Gathering?

just found the facebook group for it - its on the 25th September

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=102578133127169
http://www.facebook.com/event.php?ei...6891847&ref=mf

Looks to be open to all Mitsubishi/Subaru owners as a joint day out which will be nice - Richard drove for both teams so it'll be good to have both scoobies and evos there in numbers

Default Richard burns memorial tribute Saturday 25th September

Right you lovely people, please let me know if you would like to come to this, the idea is the convoy starts at Richard burns home town and heads to prodrive, this is still in the planning stage but will be happening and there are a few clubs involved like P1 owners club, a few evo sites and Nottinghamsire scoobies.

Been in touch with the boys up north and thought I would start a list up on here and SES to get a convoy going, will give you further details as and when they happen.

There is a big list already see link below to see what I mean.

Just wondering

Assumed that if they've started a list of names, they'd at least have agreed something with Prodrive!

Yep, definately. On the McRae run a lot of us met up at Boxhill before convoying up, so we could do that again or meet somewhere further round the M25?

I'm sure the mods have it under control, but I notice that the organisers are calling for accurate numbers before the event as they are talking about donating in advance in order to get in on the day.

I've added the Surrey Scooby folks onto the list on Scoobynet:

http://bbs.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-g...ibute-day.html

So I'm not sure if the SES folks want to do the same or if you have given the organisers your numbers directly?

Apologies if the mods are already on top of this, but I thought it best to post up, just so no one is left stuck at the gate on the day!

I was talking to Jackie (PA to Dave Richards owner of Prodrive) at Santa Pod a few weeks ago and she was telling me that this is going to be huge.

August and September seem to be like that; too many events and not enough time or money to make them all!

I missed Rallyday last year but have been several times before and its an absolutely top day out - not many places where you get to see so many Group B classics together!

Nice one Steve, come on everyone, if this is anything like the Colin McRae tribute gathering it will be huge and this will be the first time scoobs and evo's will be at a meet this size, and probably never to be repeated again.

No problem, more the merrier. We'll be sorting out convoy details closer to the date.

I expect there'll be a group meeting at Pease Pottage, and maybe meeting up with some of the Surrey members too

Sounds like a plan, last time it was PP then off to box hill or something like that to meet up with Surrey (and then got told off for making too much noise)

I mentioned this to some of the Surrey folks yesterday and they seemed to think it was a good idea, so I thought I'd post it on here too: I'm planning to stay at the Banbury Premier Inn on the Saturday evening, so my intention is to convoy up there, go to the event, blast up the road to the Premier Inn, have some food and a beer (or three) then crash out.

If anyone fancies joining me for a beer, then the more the merrier!

Not sure yet, we'll wait to see how many from Surrey are coming and where is best to meet up with them on route. Event starts at 10am so I initially expect a Pease Pottage meet at 7:45am (depart 8am), then on via M25/M40 from there.

If we meetup with some of the Surrey members at Boxhill (like we did for McRae Gathering) then we'll need to leave Pease Pottage a bit earlier.

One of the Surrey Scoobers (The Gimp) is organising a convoy from an as yet undetermined location round the West side of the M25, with the plan of heading round the M25 and up the M40 to Prodrive.

I'm not sure if the SES folks would rather all meet at this location (once we know where it is), or meet at Pease Pottage then head round the M25 together to the other meeting point?

Be cool if we can get all the SS and SES cars together though!

Would have thought we meet at PP for people over this side of the county and then head up the m23 to M25 and meet you at your meeting point before setting off? we met at box hill for the McRae gathering.

Like Steve said, all depends on what time you are meeting will determine the time we leave PP.
