Default Why bother with an inside lane

Have done a lot more driving than normal in the UK recently and can't believe how many people sit in the outside lane doing 10mph under the limit when the inside lane is empty for miles.Have to almost force them into the inside lane.Even early morning,no trafic for miles and then you come up behind someone in the outside lane doing 55mph.In France the outside lane is used just for overtaking, out, overtake, back in,simple.Instead of clocking people for doing 3mph over the limit the police need to crack down on this.Rant over.

Frenchie you are so right.

The French, German and Italian roads have alot better drivers on.
If you have someone behind you that wants to get a move on they move over irrespective of what speed you are doing.
There are too many over here that think Im doing the speed limit and I'm going to sit in either the middle or outside lane.
Lanes 2 and 3 are meant for overtaking.
I have driven 1000s of miles abroad and its so much better.
