Default Wobbly idle when warm.

Hi all!

If I restart the engine whole it's still warm, say like 10 mins from popping in the shops, the idle is very wobbly and can physically feel the car shaking.... but when I drive off, all is 100% fine.

It'll sometimes happen if I'm sitting in traffic. But again, when I get moving, all is fine.

There's no CEL and it only happens very occasionally.

If anyone's got any ideas? Thanks!

does the rpm drop?
When where the spark plugs last changed, how many miles has the car done, what fuel is being used, coil/plug/iffy injector. possibly.

RPM doesn't drop at all.
It's had new plugs and coil packs last year. It's run on V-power and it's around the 98k mile mark.

I have noticed it did this a lot more before I cleaned the MAF. Might be related? Further clean out maybe!

Not sure if you fixed this yet but mine did exactly this too, really rough idle but it would also nearly cut out at the traffic lights.
I think you may be right about MAF, I cleaned my MAF and it hasn't done it since, idles perfectly, it also doesn't pop anymore when changing down kind of miss that a bit, guess it was just running rich.

Brand new plugs in jan, on 79000 miles and always ran on Tesco momentum 99, my WRX hatch is doing this now, not all the time but occasionally the cars vibrating on idle with RPM fluttering sometimes between 500-1000, but faultless when driving.

got it in the garage this week so will clean out the MAF and hopefully sorts it.
