Default Rb5 rear spoiler fixing points

Hi all,

had a secondhand spoiler delivered to my paint shop, they are saying the fixing points look like they have been fixed previously with self tappers.

Question is do the original bolt holes line up with the standard four bolt holes.

And was the RB5 spoiler bolted in or fixed using self tappers.

TIA

PJ

Anybody help?

Need to pop in to the garage tonight.

And was wondering what I should be looking for.

Hopefully a nut-sert bonded to the underside?

Believe it used the same mountings as the stock one so should be a straight swap.

Thanks Red Baron.

I will have a look when I get to body shop, but they reckon it's been previously fixed on with self tappers, sounds like it's been bodged on in that case.
