Default Surrey Rolling Road

I went to SRR yesterday for the map to follow up from the FMIC.

Had a cracking day

Cheers to CJ for the "5 minute job"

I got the figures I was after and all at a little over 1.5 bar of boost. So keeping it lovely and safe, which was always the intention.

Heres a couple of pics taken on the phone yesterday.

Cheers Pa!

Had a really good day there yesterday, spent lots of time talking with with Rich (Dukeboy) while waiting for Daz Davis's car to be fired up. Alas it never happened due to an electrical issue. Daz is a proper cool bloke, really down to earth and bloody clever guy. The car he is building is a monster

Midlife 2 was there too with his RA, I won't spoil his thunder, hopefully he will post the graphs of his runs. They were fantastic figures! Good job that man, glad to meet you and introduce myself to you.

Simon, as usual mate, top job, I'm exactly where I wanted to be at the start of the whole process, so now I can cease the modding a happy man......

..... well........ maybe.

It goes like a train mate, I really enjoyed the drive home last night.

Because of the air temp yesterday, they are pretty true figures too. The 413 I got back in Jan when it was freezing are a bit "optimistic" if truth be known. But the cold air gave it the oomph needed to get them. Yesterday is exactly what it is.

I am a very happy bunny today

Cheers mate.

Only the front mount been done since the last figures. I could have gone for bigger numbers by pushing more boost through it, but was happy not too.

As I said earlier, this is exactly where I wanted to be numbers wise from the very beginning, so I am genuinely happy to stop there. As it is now, it's quick and hopefully fairly bullet proof. So time to stop.

The only modding now will be an oil cooler in the passenger side wing, after that purely cosmetics.

Good to meet Daz and have a good look around his project, just hope you get it sorted Thursday mate, it will be worth it once it's done

Was a very long day though and forget to get myself a Monster Energy Subaru jacket from Charlie.....got home a 01.30hrs

Cheers Clive, I am well happy with it.

Not sure what the outcome was in the end with Daz? Maybe you could let us know later. He's a top bloke!

I was sailing past junction 9 on the M25 when I realised I had forgotten to get a Jacket too

We'll catch up soon though, I WILL be coming to a Surrey meet soon, probably next months one

Great result Steve - bet it was a fun drive back! I had a great time there and wish I could have spent longer there. Simon did a great job. Just need to get myself a Milltek from somewhere and I'll be back again!

Your scoob is looking really good now

Cheers Greg. It was good to meet you yesterday mate.

As you say, get that Milltek on there and you'll be sorted. You have got a cracking looking scoob there and you have great figures to go with it!

I stayed there until just before 7.00pm, just in the hope that Daz was going to fire his car up.

sounds like most had a good day up there

Mike's slipping clutch didn't prevent him giving the car a good beating today on the airfield

were a couple of people spending rather a lot of time in the gents early this morning at Lakeside services, hope the curry didn't affect all of you!

Great figures guys.
Sounds like an interesting day and night.
As steve said nothing stopped Mike having a laugh today.
Definately my man of the day for the ," I don't give a furk, and am going to spank my scoob " attitude. Couldn't see his car for smoke at one point. Priceless

Was good to catch up with you guys and Big thanks again to C.J for all the help - Daz is a top guy and it was a real shame not to hear the beast fired up! JGM once again was working his magic!

Bit ashamed to post my figures as I was the lowest of the group!

Biggest change is the torque, max was 325lbft @ 5250rpm now peaks at 350 at 4500 and holds 350 until 5500 in fact there is 300lbft plus of torque from 3250rpm! Power wise up by 20BHP but at 3500rpm up by 100BHP!

Oh and did I mention only 1.1 Bar boost currently to keep torque down and protect the std wrx 5 speed box! Turbo was at 1.5bar on the previous map!

Not the lowest - I was 364. If only my scanner would work I'd post mine!

Sure Worzel has a stick-on. His car was looking very good! (once we'd got the bonnet shut!)

Hi Gary, the lag isn't much different to the 35. but this is probably due to Simon's skills. The car does feel very different, much quicker, and more mid-range torque and I'm very pleased with the results Let me know if you want to pop round if you want to try out the 'H' Wish I had upgraded the standard exhaust but I'm guessing you always want more.....

Cheers Steve

They are a nice set of figures, it feels really strong now.

I got that kit from Japspeed. They don't actually state what kit it is on their website, but I'm sure it's an Autobahn88. It's a really good kit actually.

I have got the bonnet stick on plate Steve (PPP). I will get some pics posted up soon.

Mate, I think they are great figures, especially at 1.1bar.

When you think, theres a LOT more still to come.

Cracking job mate

Daz's car has got to be one of the best home jobs I've seen for a long time, very nice indeed, myself, Stew & Bod where trying to sort out his wiring, just hope simon gets it sorted today!!
