Got a track day spec clio, almost built in 4 working days!!! Just got to do final touches today.

with the lack of time i had, this is nothing short of a miracle as it has had a fair bit done to it and custom fabricated. Only wish i had time to cage it before we went.

Hurrah!

Well done that man. I saw yesterday Vettel's team changed his engine in less than 2 hours, what is your excuse?

Right guys, I will link the menu for Friday night dinner at Jackies. If you can let me know what each of you want so that I can forward this to her, that would be great.

Steak is Saturday night, Sunday night can be whatever people fancy, if we decide early enough Saturday we can always try and book somewhere for the Sunday... probably Jackie's Monday night but again down to what ever people fancy, nothing set in stone.

For the Sunday cant recommend the place up by the castle enough. Lots of the locals go there, Huge burgers, schnitzel, amazing views out on the veranda. A definite go to place for dave and I now. I think you all would love it.

It doesn't look anything from the car park side but when you go in it has memorabilia everywhere and the decking has the panoramic views. The restaurant is nicely done and the staff friendly.

Think Scott and I went there back in 2012, just sat out on the deck in the sun with a beer and a bowl of chips each.

On another note, what's the big structure going up on the circuit on the Web cams, looks like a stage.

What lap times are people hoping for? I didn't bother timing it last year but I may do this year just for the crack - hope I can go faster than Sabine in the Transit from that TG episode.

I don't time whilst in the car, but just lookup times afterwards on the video (from timestamps under the bridge/gantry). Would be nice to go under 9 minutes again, not managed it for a couple of years due to weather/traffic/overheating scoob but not fussed if it doesn't happen. These days its more about getting away from work, enjoying the people, food and beers

Don't suppose there's any chance of you telling me when you're about 1hr away from the turn in Germany where you change from the A60 to the A1? Then I can see about making my way and joining you that point. I took a look at meeting you up near Liege where you stop but that's a long way in the wrong direction.

Is anyone using Waze on the their phone for navigation? Would make this easier.

Going to try and get packed and loaded tonight.

Long weekend of car things - doesn't get much better.

Guys, I'll be out there Thursday to Sunday so will keep an eye out for you and the Scoobies.

Out in the M140 and a mate in his E46 M3.
