Just a warning about a big round opening.

Sourced from Wikipedia:
Whilst it is efficient at letting the gases out, you will find it increasingly difficult to skim the sides on entry without medical intervention, thus sensation will decrease over time, and you may stop bothering with it.

Best to stick to a tight box for as long as you can. As for the twist in it, well that can add to the fun enormously, especially when cleaning with a duster.

I have been resisting reading this as i did not think i would get the chance to go next year but i am going to try now.Just 2 questions is any body going by the tunnel(Sorry boats do not do it for me) and as a cost saving measure is any one going down the camping route.

We did talk about the tunnel as an alternative this time, so that might well happen.

Everyone who went this year enjoyed the hotel so much, that we have only looked down this route. But I know CJ has mentioned it.

I have just looked at the price difference,

between the tunnel and Norfolk Lines

Norfolk Lines = £42.00 Return

Euro Tunnel = £118.00 Return ( at Oct/Nov this year prices next years prices are not yet available)

I'm not going to be able to get away from work (Bognor) until 3pm so was planning on getting a train around 6/7 and driving to probably Belgium, stopping over night there then early drive to meet up with the rest of you Sat am.

I love the ferry, it's a good way to start the trip I reckon.

We will just have to arrange a meeting point the other side

It's looking that way.

I will e-mail Jacqueline again tomorrow and give approximate numbers and see what she says. I might not get the answer until early next week as I am away on a long weekend this weekend.

Including you mate, we have 15 cars that have confirmed for that weekend.

If Wez comes too, 16.

I have sent the e-mail to Jacqueline letting her know exactly this. Please see the e-mail below.

Hi Jacqueline

I hope I find you well.

We have had 15 confirmations for the weekend you came up with. Friday 28th - Monday 31st May 2010.

There is one other person who is probably coming, but I won't count him for now, if he commits at some point soon then I will let you know and maybe grab another room.

What do you want me to arrange by way of deposits and booking?

I am away for a long weekend now, so please forgive me if I don't get back until well into next week.

Regards

Steve Green

Cheers matey

Hi Steve,

Can I confirm if not already in your 15 but I'll be arriving late on Friday night/early Sat - depending on what time I can arrive at, e.g if I'll be too late to arrive then I'll stop enroute and catch you guys up Sat am. I cannot leave Bognor before 3pm I will ask if I can have the afternoon off but it's unlikely and I won't know until Sept.

Nick

I have no doubt we will be able to sort something out for a late arrival,

the breakfasts are good in the hotel.

Its a shame you cant get something sorted part of the trip is the journey down, what happens if you are ill??

This is the only disadvantage of teaching - holidays are taken when we have to not when we want however the 13 weeks makes up for it!

I'll meet you at the hotel Sat am ready for the fun and will be fine to drive back with you unless I can get the Friday off. What time do you leave on the Friday?

I can't pull a sicky as it's 1/2 term it will take me over the 5 dats and will need to be signed off by a doctor!

Obviously its to early to say forsure, this year we got the 8.00am ferry, Dover to Dunkirk. Which was by along way the cheapest option.

I would imagine the times of departure etc. would be much the same as this years trip.

Mate you have 10 months notice it would be good to all start together.

At least you've got 10 months to sort your scoob.

NOT 10 DAYS. Or Even 10 MINUTES.
