What a great day and so many thanks to everyone that setup/helped. Great to be able to send money into a charity. Some awesome cars there and a few drivers really enjoying the space to use what they had on track.

Oh and thanks for the great run home guys the detour made it a little more interesting I think, oops!!!!!!!

Well done Steve and Claire.
Great prizes from Hammonds Hope we did your generosity justice.

Pity about the weather, but I still got a ride in a Ferrari 430 Scudaria and Ang loved the Porcshe GT2 ride. I think she wants her own one now

Woohoo won something! I bought all the the raffle tickets for my old man anyway, as i think its pointless having subaru merchanchise as i havent got one, unless you can magically change it for alfa stuff? Or shall i have it and give as a pressie for fathers day? All yours father as i always said.

Great turn out today, superb venue and supporting cars, not rip off prices but frigging cold. Congrats to all that were involved in this event as it was outstanding!

Well done guys, it was a great day and good to see everyone. What was really impressive was how our club was represented. I think we probably had more cars than any other club

I even got to sit in timo glocks old Jordan F1 car which was a real highlight.

Sorry we had to leave at 2ish and I didnt get to say bye to everyone, the kids had kinda had enough by then!.

Will get some pics up tomorrow.

Great day out, thanks to Steve and Claire, they both did a fantastic job, great turnout for us as well.
They could have done with more trade stands but the food was excellent and VERY good prices, the only car show i have ever been to where i didnt feel ripped off getting food.

have to agree about the food prices, very good. I think everyone else thought the same though judging by the queues!

Next year i'll get out in a nice ferrari or lambo as well

Thanks for the comments guys,
I'm really sorry i didnt get a chance to come over and chat for more than a few seconds. I knew the morning was going to be fraught but i though i'd have time when things settled down.

Sadly there was always something to do, although i did actually get to go out in both my cars (and spun them both...i blame cold tyres.....and a lack of talent!)

So my apologies if i didnt register when some of you say hello, my brain was trying to make sense of 10 things at once.

I'm really happy to hear you all had a good time, i'm aware certain things could have worked better but we're taking feedback to improve what we're doing all the time.

Just as a bit of background all the organising team (with one exception) volunteered their time and services for nothing and we're rally pleased that we did because the buzz of the day was amazing,

now down to the nitty gritty, we did almost 900 supercar rides and ran right up to the limit imposed by Dunsfold...we got through the waiting queue at 4.30 on the dot.

We believe over 4,500 possibly 5,000 people came down and we raised in excess of;

£63,000

The Children's trust are understandably very pleased indeed and have vowed to put on an even better show next year with the aid of the lessons we learnt from this one..
Thank you for your support and hopefully see you again next year?

pictures will follow

Harsh it was a great day, if the weather had been better it would have been awesome

Was this the first running of the event?
If so the organising team did a fantastic job :thumb:

A few comments discussed on the day were that the food vans should have been more spread out and there could have been more on to keep us there. Fun fair??
You have the room

To raise £63k is an amaising acheivement
